What makes me unconventional is my age and that I am not yet signed up with an agency. However I have already secured some jobs for myself. So far I have done runway, commercial and catalog print. I have written this blog to encourage every single aspiring model out there that no one can stop your dream from happening but yourself. Our dreams are our gifts from God. No one can see it as vividly as you can. I am saying this because I know you buy a lot of fashion magazines, where you've seen the Supermodels on magazine covers most of them are not the young and fresh teen model....look again it is the faces of Oprah http://www2.oprah.com/omagazine ,Tyra Banks http://www.tyrabanks.com/bigPop.html, Heidi Klum http://www.heidiklum.com/en/Cover.aspx Claudia Schiffer http://www.claudia-schiffer.com.ar/ , Christy Turlington, Iman, Naomi Campbell, Christie Brinkley, Angeline Jolie (by the way, she was a model),Giselle Bundschen and the list goes on and on it is the faces of....... beautiful women. Why are these women so beautiful ? Despite the fact that they were born beautiful which you were too...they have one single upper hand and that is they are under the scrutiny eye of the Fashion, TV, Radio and Movie industry. Thus the reason why I'm giving you the first tip of the day which is:
Tip #1 Look Good :
Before you even want to attempt to start marketing yourself take a good look in the mirror and see what you don't like and needs to be improved , family member are usually your best judges because they will tell you the truth and give you the support you need. You need a lot of support in this industry because you are not always going to hear what you want. Ladies I don't know how I can stress this to you, the modeling industry is about Looks, so of course they are going to scrutinize your looks. Remember that all the famous models I've mentioned that we see on magazines are constantly taking good care of there bodies skin.teeth, health and they are constantly updating there fashion looks, there is nothing that they are doing to themselves that you can't do for yourselves. They are people just like you with there own flaws, the difference between you and them is that they continuously work on looking good. That's what you need to do and you will be surprised to know that you don't need that much money to look Good. Simplicity, good taste and perseverance is what you need to look good.
1. Every day take a good shower use a loofah, scrunchy or my favorite "bath glove" from H20 Stores:https://www.h2oplus.com/retail2002/productdetails.aspx?productid=200-03072-000 the body scrubs help to take of unwanted dead skin, thus rejuvenating new skin cells to grow. I absolutely keep these in my bathroom and ladies I must warn once you use the bath glove you are hooked!!!.
2. After you shower you still have to deep cleanse your face, you ll be amazed at how much grime is left on the face when you shower. You have to be gentle with your face when you wash it. The best quick and inexpensive facial cleansing product under $4.00 that I found at Walmart's beauty section is "Equate Exfoliating Cleansing Towelettes"
I just can't explain to you how great this product is, the product speaks for itself literally, its one of those that once you use them... you are"hooked"
3. Find Your Beauty Secret Product
I was not going to reveal this product but that defeats the purpose of why I am writing this blog and that to launch your modeling career. Trust me this one is hard to reveal I think I need to be paid for this, OK here goes.....I went into Kohl's , don't we all love Kohl's? I went to get my favorite "Vera Wang" perfume, by the way she has a whole clothing collection there too,. While I was at the counter I couldn't help noticing a poster that looked like it came from the pharmacy and it read as "eyliplex-2 eye lift and eye reducer" This is actually a magic product its a now you see , now you don't product, truly that's how good it is. I don't have wrinkles but I am using a certain product plump my face and it is instant Tri-Aktiline is the magic of the lot ........ sssssh...... I don't even think there's anyone else who has this product, also found at Kohl's These are a must Have because every one's eyes get puffy after they sleep, and you heard me they work like magic..... stay tuned for more tips in my next blog
